    Featured Collection – The Perry Bishop Collection

    Perry Bishop of Scottsdale, AZ, donated a far-reaching collection in 2014. In addition to almost 200 images, the collection includes magazine articles, race programs and cover prints from multiple issues of SCCA’s Sportscar magazine. From the 1962 Okinawa Grand Prix are the program, news articles, correspondence, promotional materials and other items. The collection also includes from 1962 an SCCA Competition Regulations book, Flagman’s Instructions, Flag Regulations and Corner Captain’s instructions.

    The photographs range through the 1950s and 1960s from events at Beverly (MA), Cumberland (MD), Eagle Mountain (TX), Road America (WI), Brynfan Tyddyn (PA), Giant’s Despair (PA), Hagerstown (MD), Pebble Beach (CA), Sacramento (CA), Sebring (FL), Le Mans (France) and Watkins Glen (NY).
